Holiday Inn SunSpree, Montego Bay, Jamaica
Spent a couple days soaking up sun in Montego Bay, Jamaica on a short holiday before beginning a Caribbean Cruise.
Activities included sunbathing, ocean kayaking, swimming and sampling local cuisine. Unfortunately, much of the island is very poor, and quite unsafe. A brief tour of the beach-side of the city only showed abject poverty. The juxtaposition of "wealthy" white tourists versus the dirt poor citizens was disheartening. The photo above and the stamps in my passport are the only visual proof of my brief visit here.
