Watching Arrival into Panama Canal

We had neared the Panama Canal overnight, and were awakened about 4am by the clanking of the anchor chain being raised in preparation for sailing toward and entering the Canal.

First we sailed past the city of Colón and into Limon Bay. At the far end of the bay we entered what looked more like a river. There were thousands of jelly fish, white dots floating in the water. Then we arrived at the first of the Locks.
