Panama Rain Forest

After touring the rain forest by boat, we disembarked and explored further on foot.

We hiked a two mile trail, surrounded by the most lush vegetation I think I've ever seen. We passed several howler monkeys, a sloth, and many tropical birds, all hanging out in the rain forest vegetation. Climbing vines. Bromeliads. Palms. Trees with spear-like, needle-thorns! Here's a sample of what I saw:
