Horseback Riding, Santiago, Manzanillo, Mexico
For a day away from the beach, we decided to go horseback riding.
We arrived in the village of Santiago, met our outfitter, and got saddled up. We then toured Santiago on horseback before trotting off into the rolling country side. The horse and I passed several farmers whose facial features revealed their Mayan ancestry, all of whom waved and called out an indigenous greeting.
