Backpacking in the Great Smokey Mountains
Spent a weekend backpacking in the Great Smokey Mountains.
After attending a friend's wedding in Gatlinburg, Lynnette and I had planned to go backpacking over the weekend. I found a trailhead with parking, pulled in and unloaded our gear. The trail we chose followed a wide creek. The water was clear and cold, but it was a warm sunny, Spring day: perfect for backpacking!
